Casual BBQ for new and prospective members. Bring your Volvo, bring your family, BYO everything. Club provides the BBQ and the unsolicited advice.
Monthly Cruise Night
Casual Saturday night cruise along the Yarra. Meet at Southbank carpark from 6pm. All Volvos welcome, no RSVP needed.
British Car Day 2026
Annual display day celebrating British motoring heritage. MGs, Triumphs, Jaguars, Austins, and everything in between spread across the Flemington lawns. People's choice awards, parts stalls, and a proper tea tent.
Cars & Coffee - Rotary Special
Monthly Cars & Coffee with a rotary theme. RX-7s, RX-8s, Cosmos, and anything with a Wankel engine welcome. Coffee from 7am, rotary dyno runs from 9am.
Swedish Car Day
Annual display day for all Swedish cars. Volvo, Saab, Koenigsegg (we wish). People's choice awards. BYO picnic.
Tech Night: SU Carb Rebuild
Hands-on workshop night. Bring your SU carbs and we'll walk through a full rebuild together. Tools and rebuild kits provided. BYO carbs.
Concours d'Elegance
The Jaguar Drivers Club WA annual concours judging. All Jaguar models from pre-war SS through to modern F-Type. Judged classes, display-only entries, and a scenic drive through Kings Park.
Volvo Nationals 2026
NationalThree days of cruising, concours, and camaraderie in the Barossa. Open to all Volvo enthusiasts nationally. Camping and accommodation options available.
Mountain Touge Run
Spirited driving through the Blue Mountains with fellow JDM enthusiasts. Meet at Glenbrook at 7am for a convoy up Bells Line of Road, stopping at Mount Tomah for coffee before looping back via Lithgow. All JDM classics welcome, sensible driving expected.
Brisbane Hinterland Run
Sunday morning cruise through the Gold Coast hinterland. Meet at the Gallery Walk car park at 9am. Coffee stop at the Creamery, then a scenic loop back via Canungra.
All British Day
Yes, Volvos aren't British. But the SA club has been turning up to All British Day for years and nobody has complained. Good fun, great cars.
Classic Cars & Coffee
Monthly coffee morning for classic car owners. Not Volvo-specific but several club members attend. Good way to meet people if you're new.
Winter Solstice Run
Dawn start from Mount Lofty summit. Drive through Hahndorf, stop for breakfast at a pub that serves proper eggs. Shortest day, longest drive.
Annual Parts Swap Day
The SA club's annual parts swap. Tables $10 each. Sellers from as far as Melbourne and Perth turn up. If you need a part for your Volvo, this is the place to find it.
Volvo 122S 70th Anniversary Display
NationalMarking 70 years since the first Amazon rolled off the line. National invitation for all 122S/Amazon owners. Concours judging, parts swap, and a dedicated photo shoot.
Concours d'Elegance
Annual concours judging for all Volvo models. Three classes: original, modified, and daily driver. Trophies for each class and a People's Choice award.
Great Ocean Road Spring Run
Annual run down the Great Ocean Road. Meet at Torquay surf club car park, 8:30am. Lunch at Apollo Bay. Convoy of 20+ Volvos is always a sight.
Margaret River Weekend
Two-day camping trip to Margaret River. Convoy down on Saturday morning, camping at the caravan park, winery visits, and a scenic drive home on Sunday. Usually 15-20 cars.
Christmas Breakup & Awards Night
End of year dinner and awards night. Car of the Year, Best Restoration, and the coveted Breakdown of the Year trophy. Bring a plate, club provides drinks.
