Sequential turbo system explained, stop deleting it
tip
The FD's sequential twin-turbo system is brilliant engineering that people remove because they don't understand it. The primary turbo provides low-end response, the secondary adds top-end power, and the transition between them is controlled by solenoids and vacuum lines. When it works properly the boost curve is seamless. Most problems come from cracked vacuum lines or stuck solenoid valves. Before you rip it all out for a single turbo, replace every vacuum line with silicone and test each solenoid. A working sequential system is faster everywhere except peak power.
