JDM Classics NSW

JDM Classics NSW is a modern car club built around a shared obsession with Japanese classic imports. Founded in 2019 by a group of mates who kept running into each other at Japanese car auctions, the club focuses on Toyota and other JDM marques from the 1970s through the early 2000s - think AE86s, KE70s, Celicas, Supras, and the occasional Cressida.

The club operates more like a community than a traditional car club. No committee meetings, no minutes, no formal structure. Events are organised through Instagram and a group chat, and they range from weekend cruises down the Royal National Park to garage days where members share tools, knowledge, and questionable mechanical advice.

What sets JDM Classics apart is the quality of builds. Members take their restorations seriously, sourcing parts directly from Japan and maintaining a network of trusted importers and mechanics.
