Rear Wheel Arch Corrosion

Symptoms

Rust develops in the inner and outer wheel arches, spreading from the inside.

Cause

Road spray, mud, and moisture accumulate in the arches. The R100's arch lips trap debris.

Fix

Cut and patch.

Outer arches are visible, repairs need to be cosmetically acceptable.

Inner arches can be patched more roughly.

Cost: $500-1,500 per arch.
