Minor Electrical Issues

Central Locking Actuator Failure

Symptoms

One or more doors fail to lock or unlock with the remote or central locking switch. The actuator may click but not move the lock mechanism.

Cause

The electric actuators wear out their internal motors and gears. The linkage rod connections can also come loose.

Fix

Replace the actuator ($40--80 AUD). Accessible through the door card.
