A70 Supra suspension upgrade for fast road use

question

The stock A70 suspension is soft and floaty, which is fine for cruising but terrible for spirited driving. I want a firm but liveable setup for weekend canyon runs and the occasional track day. Budget is about $2,000. BC Racing, Tein, and KYB AGX with Eibach springs are the options I've found. Has anyone done a suspension upgrade on an A70 specifically?

For a dual-purpose car the Tein Flex Z is hard to beat in that budget. Adjustable damping means you can soften it for road use and firm it up for track days. The BC Racing units are cheaper but the ride quality suffers on Australian roads. If you can't stretch to proper coilovers, the KYB AGX with Eibach springs is a solid budget option that many A70 owners run successfully.

tein flex z is what id go with too. ive driven a few cars on them at track days and the quality is consistent. for the money they ride better than BCs on the street which matters if youre using it every weekend. adjustability is the key feature at this price point.
