FJ40 rust proofing,do it before you go bush

these cruisers rust in the floor pans, firewall, and behind the rear wheel arches. before you take it anywhere near salt water or bulldust, get underneath with a wire wheel and hit every surface with fish oil or lanolin. the drain holes in the chassis rails block up with mud, drill them out so water can escape. spent a weekend doing mine properly and its still solid 8 years later. blokes who skip this step end up with floor pans you can see the road through.
