AE86 LSD,TRD mechanical is the go

stock open diff on the ae86 is useless for anything fun. the TRD mechanical 2-way LSD is the proper answer. fits the T50 gearbox diff housing directly. about $1200 new from japan if you can find one. the kaaz and cusco units are also good. viscous LSDs from later toyotas are a cheap bodge option but they fade with heat. for drifting you want mechanical, no question.
