EH Holden Premier,the car that put Holden on the map

The EH was Holden's breakthrough model. It introduced the red motor 179 engine which was a massive improvement over the grey motor, and the Premier trim level added a level of luxury that Australians hadn't seen from a local manufacturer. Over 250,000 were built between 1963 and 1965, making it one of the most successful Australian cars ever. The EH is also the foundation for many classic Holden builds because the red motor takes modifications well and the body is strong. A clean, original EH Premier in the right colour is one of the most collectible Holdens.
