EH Premier restoration,where to source correct interior trim?
I'm restoring an EH Premier and need the interior retrimmed. The original seat fabric is a specific pattern and I want to match it as closely as possible. The door cards need recovering too. Has anyone found a supplier of correct EH Premier trim fabric in Australia? The car is Red/White two-tone which was one of the standard Premier colour combinations.
original EH trim patterns are reproduced by two suppliers that i know of. ferndale trim supplies in melbourne stock EH-specific seat vinyl and fabric. they also have the correct door card patterns. for the red/white premier combo you want their code EH-P-RW. its not cheap at about $600 per seat but its the closest youll get to factory. the other option is resto trim in adelaide who do custom matches from a sample of the original.
the EH holden club has a parts and trim register that might have NOS samples or contacts for reproduction material. worth joining even just for the parts access. the club events are great too, heaps of EH knowledge floating around.
