Identifying original 164E D-Jetronic components

The Bosch D-Jetronic system on the 164E comprises a pressure sensor (Bosch 0 280 100 010), two banks of injectors, a cold start valve, and a set of trigger points in the distributor. If you're assessing a car for originality, check that the pressure sensor hasn't been replaced with a later L-Jetronic unit, which is a common bodge. The original unit has a round connector, not a flat blade type. The injector part number should be 0 280 150 035 for the 1973 model year.
