The B20 runs hot if you don't flush the heater core annually

Learned this the hard way after two summers. The heater core on these cars silts up gradually and reduces coolant flow even when the heater is off. Flush it every spring with a garden hose — takes 15 minutes and saves you from overheating in traffic. Use distilled water and proper coolant mix after.
