VL Turbo,change the boost hose before it leaves you stranded

so the rubber hose that connects the turbo to the intercooler on the VL splits and youre left with no boost on the side of the road. happened to me on the gateway motorway last month. the hose costs like $30 from repco and takes 20 minutes to change. just do it preventatively cos if its the original hose after 35+ years its going to let go eventually. ask me how i know lol
