Rear Trailing Arm Bush Wear
Symptoms
Clunking from the rear under acceleration and braking. Rear axle wander. Vague handling through corners.
Cause
The HK-HG uses trailing arms to locate the rear axle. The rubber bushings in these arms deteriorate over time.
Fix
Replace the trailing arm bushings.
Polyurethane replacements are available and last longer than rubber.
Budget $200-400 for parts.
