The GT-HO Phase III was the fastest four-door production car in the world in 1971.
Ford Australia didn't just assemble American cars, it built its own. The Falcon evolved from a fragile US import into one of the toughest, fastest sedans in the world. The GT-HO Phase III was the fastest four-door production car on earth in 1971. The Barra inline-six became a tuning legend, with stock turbo models making 360hp and aftermarket builds cracking 1,000hp.
